Niko gets briefly teleported to the top left corner of this map after giving sun to Maize or completing/resetting the ram puzzle with the screen blackened so it's impossible to see. If the map 008, "Glen", the internal folder for Glen maps, is viewed using RPG Maker XP, a picture of Alula can be seen.Combine the feather and the bottle of dye to make a feather pen, use it to get past the guard robot at the gate and proceed to the Refuge.(Again, this is for an optional side quest in the Refuge.) Retrieve the sun from Maize and pick up the seed she leaves behind.(This is optional, and only necessary to unlock a secret later in the Refuge.) Barter with Magpie in the village and trade the ram wool for a bottle of dye.Go and herd the rams in the village to receive the ram wool.Go to the research station to the southeast and get a tube of water from one of the robots there.Accept Calamus's offer to go to their house and get the feather there. Lead Alula out of the ruins and back to Calamus who is in the forest to the south.Go through the passage that was covered in vines before near the entrance and solve the puzzle.Asking the computer repeatedly will give more detailed explanations of what to do. Find the room with a pool of water outside and interact with the computer.Traverse the area until you are at the far east and go into the ruins. The steps listed here are not necessarily the intended way to get through the Glen, but simply a guide of the basic things you need to do to progress for people who are stuck and want help.įollowing these steps directly will mean missing out on certain character interactions, dialogue and world-building.
Oneshot alula how to#
OneShot is a game with lots of hints towards how to get through the game in its storytelling and world-building. To the south, Cedric can be found next to a blue campfire and a flying machine. The graveyard is only accessible due to erosion and flooding.

If you haven't played OneShot nor have done a Solstice run yet or if you wish not to be heavily spoiled, feel free to turn away from this section.Īlula and Calamus would visit their mother's gravestone here. WARNING! The following section contains Solstice spoilers. To the northwest, there is a bed where Niko can sleep. To the east, a robot is monitoring an "anomaly," another cluster of glitchy squares.Ī giant robot guards the gate that leads far upstairs to the rooftops of the Refuge but the robot cannot allow Niko to pass until they can write their name on the sign-in sheet. The research station is staffed by robots who collect water samples. In Solstice, graveyard will be accessible through here. In a clearing outside is Maize, a dying plant lady, whom Niko must temporarily give The Sun to.Īlula and Calamus live next to the courtyard and regularly play here. The Ruins harbors a few robots and a computer where Entity can be spoken to. It's also possible that the phosphor trees' root systems play an important role in preventing land erosion, like in several coastal and wetland biomes.

There are a few stumps, presumably from phosphor trees cut down before the previous Sun had gone out. The Forest consists of phosphor trees, in front of which stands a sign declaring them protected under law. It has many small houses, some of which can be entered. The Village is a place where most people live. Upon arriving in the Glen, Niko finds themself in this area.
